Speed, power, thrills and spills have
made NIR a hugely popular attraction for motor racing fans.
The quarter mile oval tarmac circuit is the venue for the worlds most powerful and exciting contact racing Formula 1 Stock Cars.
These 7 litre powered engine vehicles thunder round the track at awesome speed, making the ground vibrate as they use bumpers to spin rivals out of the way.
Supporting formulae include F2 Stock Cars, V8 Stock Cars, Stock Rods, Hot Rods, Rebels and Grand Prix Midgets.
NIR is also well known for its dare-devil banger racing. Cars smash, crash and fly through the air, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
One of the big attractions of NIR is that spectators can see the entire race.
For youngsters, at most meetings there's a bouncy castle, face-painting and clown. There's also a bar, home-cooked food, track shop and free parking.
